"Fees per sale" = final value fee + per-order fee at your average sale. "Break-even sales" = how many sales per month you need for that Store to cost no more than having no Store. Uses each tier's all-category free fixed-price listing allowance (Store tiers also get extra free listings in some categories). Enterprise is only offered on yearly renewal. When a Store pays off

A Starter Store gives you a storefront and slightly cheaper insertion fees ($0.30 instead of $0.35 after your free listings), but its final value fees are the same as having no Store. The real fee savings start at Basic, where many categories drop by 0.9 to 6.25 points: phones go from 13.6% to 9.35%, and consoles and laptops go to 7.35%. In electronics a Basic Store can pay for itself with only a handful of sales a month. In categories where the Store rate is 12.7%, the saving is smaller and you need more volume.

Keep in mind that Store rates switch to 2.35% above $2,500 per item, while non-Store rates do that above $7,500. For very expensive single items the comparison can change, so run your real numbers.
